Frugal Family Reading Fun

Have your kids registered for the summer reading program at the Wichita Public Library yet? If they haven't done so yet, make sure they do so soon. When you sign up you're child will need to create a goal, and these books don't necessarily have to come from the library. The goal is to get your child reading.
The best part is children from birth can participate and they also have a teen program (for teens up to 17) years old. There are fun little prizes for reading, even for the little tikes and the best part is your child also wins food coupons! This mama can't wait for those!!! The program started last week and ends July 31st. So stop by the closest library and get reading.
If this program isn't great enough the library has a ton of fun free programs this summer. Most are geared toward specific ages, so you'll want to check out this site for full details. Please note that some programs require registrations and I've been told they fill up fast. So you'll want to check it out soon. If you don't live in Wichita, make sure you contact your local library chances are pretty good that they have some sort of program too.
We're excited about nursery rhyme time starting once again. We'd love to see you there.
Happy Reading!
Erica
