Kneading Less Mess

To help cut the cost of our grocery budget I tend to make a lot of things from scratch. One of these is homemade bread and rolls. Not only do they taste amazing but I know I'm feeding my family preservative free foods.

The one thing I don't like about making homemade breads is the mess. Since we don't have a bread machine I must knead by hand. I've tried using a plastic sheet to knead the dough on but it's a pain to wash and dry.

So I started kneading right in my bowl. I just keep adding flour as necessary. It cuts down on the mess and dishes. Now that Works for Me!

For other great ideas head on over to We Are That Family this week.

  1. Ooo! I may just have to try this! My least favorite part about making bread is cleaning up all that flour off the counter.
