I choose to shop at Dillons and Aldi for my primary grocery needs. This system has helped me save hundreds of dollars this year alone. But why Dillons? Why do I love it so much?
Friendly. I have never been to a Dillons where the staff wasn’t helpful and courteous. I’d rather shop where I feel people want my business.
Produce. I can usually find everything I need and everything is very excellent quality. It's the next best thing from the farmer's market. I love that they have red tape bananas for .39/lb and if you shop in the mornings you can usually find these great buys.
Manager’s Specials! Oh how I love finding these beautiful orange tags, they just scream savings. Things that often are on MS are milk (which can be frozen), meat (freeze once you buy and it’ll stay fresh), eggs, bags of salad lettuce & bread. These are great buys if you can snatch them before they are all gone.
Coupons! Dillons in Wichita doubles coupons, which means if I have a coupon for .50 the store will double it and make that coupon worth a $1.00. They double the amount up to a $1. So if you have a .75 coupon it won’t double in price, it will just “double” to a $1. Dillons also sends out coupons in the mail based on what you have purchased and what they think you need to purchase. I love getting coupons for meat and cheese, something that usually doesn’t happen too often.
eCoupons! Cellfire, Shortcuts, and Procter & Gamble all have coupons you can load to your Dillons card that will automatically deduct from your total when you scan your card at the checkout.
Gas Discount! When you spend $100 in groceries you will receive $0.10 off per gallon at Dillons gas stations and Kwik Shop Gas Stations in the Wichita area. What is great about this is that you can fill up more than one car using this discount, so make sure you follow your honey to the gas station and fill both cars up in one transaction. To make this even better if you use MF coupons you get credit for the amount you never paid for. So if you used $10 in MF coupons, $10 will go towards your fuel saver rewards.
Sales! Dillons often runs amazing sales that will allow me to stock up on meat and staples for a significantly reduced price. I love their Mega Sales because often times many coupons match up with their sale leaving you with some sweet savings and many times FREE items.
Bag Discount! When you bring in a reusable bag or even old plastic bags Dillons will give you .05 off per bag you use. It may not seem like a lot, but say you use 5 bags every week that will save you $1/month and $12 a year. Leave those bags in your car so you can grab one if you need to run in to buy something, you’ll still get the .05 discount even if you only have one or two items.
Extra Perks! Car Shopping carts that help distract my toddler, free samples throughout the store, clerks who take your groceries out to your car and a post office are all extra perks that I love about shopping at Dillons.

Oh, how I love that store. Except here in the south it's called Kroger, which I'm pretty sure is the same chain. I agree with all of your points! It's the best!
